Harrow Mencap
Harrow Mencap is the primary campaigning organisation and the leading voice and provider of personalised services for people with learning disablities in Harrow.
We work with over 500 people each year offering a lifetime of personalised care and support from childhood through to older age. We run a number of grant funded projects promoting inclusion, participation and community engagement. We support people with learning disabilities, helping them to speak up on issues ranging from welfare reform, health, transport, voting and housing.
Competitive Solutions have supported the Harrow Mencap Group to secure a number of key Statutory Care Act Advocacy Tenders to be delivered in the London Borough Harrow. This funding was won through a highly competitive process against large corporate national organisations, which demonstrates the quality and robustness of our bids.
All their staff continue to support the Harrow Mencap Group in meeting our strategic goals through the development and creation of new projects and ideas whilst building on existing services.
